I am attempting to blog a little more often although it may be a bit short and sweet if time is limited. I need to get my communication skills up to speed this year and keep posting regularly, especially as I am now the blogging rep of the family (Johnny has signed off….but will he return?!!) He’s saving all his great thoughts for another time and place!

Johnny has been at YFC staff conference this week and returned today much to the elation of the kids. We all love him being here and I’m sure their behaviour improves when he’s around. They are thinking more about moving and where we might live. I think Noah would like to live near some hills because we were flying his kite in the garden the other day and I said it would go better if we were on a hill.

Life is a bit uncertain at the moment with regard to where we will actually live. I was reading some stuff from Matthew 8 about Jesus calming the storm and I think I just need need to be peaceful and not anxious. Fear is linked to lack of faith (v26) so if we walk in faith we need not fear. I think we can learn a lot from children - their love and trust is so simple.
