Living, Loving, Learning & Leading
Christmas approaches and it is the season of Christmas productions, often tenuously linked to the nativity and usually devoid of sincere faith and hope in Jesus. Noah was a mouse in the tale of the hopeless camel (who eventually became happy!), a singing role which he threw himself into with enthusiasm, but no movement was required!!
It did make me wonder if any of the parents see any meaning in the Christmas story, and confirmed the necessary place of outreach at this time of year. Our cards from Sawyers ‘Christmas…what’s in it for you?’ are being given our far and wide, and it’s a joy to point people to the true ‘reason for the season.’
J and I were very encouraged and blessed by the students from Keele last weekend; it’s great to see young folks (not that we’re old) keen to go on with God and have lives that are purposeful in reaching others with the gospel.
Christmas is coming with daily opportunities to point to Jesus - let’s not lose our focus. Check out the website & have a blessed Christmas. x
Johnny and Hannah reside in Essex with their gorgeous kids Noah and Esther. They love to connect with people and make an impact in their local community. Johnny is a church leader with a passion for communicating truth and encouraging people in life-long obedience to Jesus, whilst Hannah keeps the family together and is busy with women's ministry and writing projects. They love life, music, movies, coffee and books, preferably not all at the same time!
