Here’s some of the lies about God that I’ve encountered in the last month. Some of these are reoccurring classics!

He doesn’t really understand my stuff.
He’ll always rescue me from the things
I think I need rescued from.
He’s waiting for direction from me.
His biggest goal for me is my happiness.
He helps those who help themselves.
He sent Jesus just for me!!
He cares more about the after life than this life.
If he cared about my pain, he’d make it stop.

This feels like quite a collection; so I ask what classics have you heard recently?!
Gods truth is clear and yet for many it’s more than a bit fuzzy!
His Way brings real Life, but not always the things I’d prefer or prescribe myself!
Surely this is acceptable is it not?
