The call of in Christ is always onwards and upwards! Heartfelt prayer, outwards focused prayer, faith-filled prayer, prayer for souls, prayer for salvations, prayer for individuals to be transformed by the gospel is what we live for. Uncomfortable but prayer remains an unavoidable barometer for spiritual vitality. Leonard Ravenhill says “if a minister is not praying, he’s playing. If the church is not praying, they’re straying!”. I believe supernatural things happen when we get to the end of our natural selves and get to a place of absolute reliance upon God.

Our task is big, but our God is bigger.
That is why we need to pray.
We must keep fanning into flame every good grace God generously offers us.
