I really believe this;- Take people where they need to go, not where they want to go.

Being in leadership is not about pleasing people, it is about helping them. Human nature typically wants to take the easiest route, but the greatest rewards are often the result of the hardest work.

R.T. Kendall says it brillantly in ‘God Meant It For Good’ about the life of Joseph and have just read these words.

‘If God puts His finger on you it is enough to change you, you family, your church even a nation and the world. The highest compliment a man can ever have is to be tapped on the shoulder by God. When that happens wonderful things are at hand. Yet when that happens it means that a time of preparation is also at hand. This can also be called God’s chastening. It is God’s way to get the man he has owned ready for His own use. When God puts His finger on you things may get worse before they get better.’

it’s really hard and it really hurts,….
As if Jesus said it would be any other way!?
