Psalm 19 v 14

“May the words of my mouth and
the meditation of my heart
be pleasing in your sight,
O LORD, my Rock and my
Redeemer.”

I try to pray this most days - it’s written in my prayer diary - because it’s so easy to say something without thinking and regret it later, or to dwell on things which are unhelpful.

God longs that we speak truth and have hearts which are pure, and living in close proximity with others (partner, family) certain keeps us on our toes in this area. God knows I’m a work in progress (and so does Johnny!).
